Mark formed the Augusta Group in 2001 and began property syndication through Augusta Funds Management in 2003 who are the external manager of Asset Plus. Mark’s vision saw Augusta become the majority shareholder in Asset Plus and externalisation of the management contract to Augusta. Mark is now CEO of Centuria NZ after Augusta become a fully owned subsidiary of Centuria Capital Group in 2020.
Joel has extensive experience in Fund Management having previously worked at Aviva Investors (London) as a Fund Manager and then ultimately held the position of Senior Director – Real Estate. In that position, he was responsible for management of the £4 billion Aviva Life & Pensions real estate investment portfolio.
Joel has been leveraging this global experience to assist Centuria and Asset Plus in the repositioning and expansion of the portfolio.
Simon joined Centuria (formerly Augusta) in 2007 as CFO, who has lead all financial management for the group and implementation of corporate strategy in conjunction with Mark Francis. Simon has now transitioned into Centuria NZ’s COO with the recent merger, and remains the CFO of Asset Plus.
Luke joined Centuria (formerly Augusta) in January 2016 from Chapman Tripp where he spent 8 years in the corporate team where he advised on securities laws, mergers and acquisitions as well as general commercial and corporate advice. Luke’s role is to oversee and advise on all legal aspects of the Asset Plus business in conjunction with external counsel, as well as fulfilling the company secretary role for Asset Plus.
Stephen is the Asset Plus Fund Manager responsible for the management of Asset Plus, and implementation of the corporate strategy in conjunction with the remainder of the Centuria team.
Stephen is also a Senior Development Manager, currently delivering the Munroe Lane development and overseeing the other Asset Plus development initiatives with the Centuria team. Stephen has been with the group since 2007.
Daniel is the development manager responsible for the delivery of the Kamo and 35G developments in the portfolio, in conjunction with the remainder of the Centuria team.
Daniel has an extensive background in asset and development management, previously working for Goodman NZ, Mahony & Seton (London), and most recently private commercial development company Wallace Development Company Limited.
Gavin is the Asset Manager responsible for the management of the Asset Plus South Island portfolio, and is based out of our Christchurch office. Gavin joined the group in 2007 but spent a few years with Ngai Tahu property before rejoining the team in June 2019.
Will is an Auckland based Asset manager, responsible for the management of 35G. Will has been with the company since early 2019 and was previously with Robt. Jones Holdings Limited, where he strategically managed several Auckland CBD office towers and their numerous tenants.
John is an Auckland based Asset Manager, responsible for the management of Stoddard Road, and Munroe Lane once completed. Prior to joining the group in 2020 John spent 6 years with BP New Zealand as Development Manager overseeing their property portfolio and delivering new BP Connect sites across the country.
